EnviroBlend ®
Superior Treatment of Heavy Metal Waste
EnviroBlend ® is a family of treatment chemicals, custom-blended to render metal-bearing
wastes non-hazardous. It was originally developed in the 1980s for foundry clients;
offering a new and more permanent alternative to lime-based treatment. The early days of
EnviroBlend focused primarily on chemically stabilizing metals such as lead and cadmium.
However, we have expanded our line of treatment capabilities to also include arsenic,
chromium, selenium, antimony and more. In addition, we have the ability to treat wastes
contaminated with multiple metals. The technology results in stable compounds that reduce
metal leaching in all reasonable disposal settings, alleviating your liability exposure
and providing significant cost savings. Whether associated with conventional soil and
groundwater remediation, industrial process waste stream treatment, or lead paint
abatement, EnviroBlend provides a cost-effective, flexible, and stable approach to
managing your heavy metal waste.
EnviroBlend has treated over two million tons of hazardous waste for a wide range of
industries; more than 100 waste streams at over 70 industrial plants as well as 600+
remedial sites. Many facilities take advantage of EnviroBlends ease of use and
employ a variety of mixing techniques in both dry and wet environments. Uses for
